GST on consultancy

So i work as a contractor for a Indian company and they send the money through crypto on copperx , and from there I do international remittance which gives a firc certificate also and i offramp that money so in this case do i need to file for 18% gst or 0% gst as export of service ? cause according to coperrx

We don't deduct any taxes, including GST, from your international remittance transactions. When you choose the international off-ramp, our payment provider converts crypto on the international market and sends you the remittance. For specific tax obligations, including GST, it's best to consult a crypto-friendly CA who is well-versed in crypto taxes. They can provide you with accurate advice tailored to your situation and ensure you're complying with all relevant tax laws.

So if i create a gst invoices this month then I should include the Indian company name and the lut number or how to create that then?

Also I just recently got gst registered so I don't need to file gst for previous month income right ?

In this case, you may be considered as an exporter of services, and according to GST regulations, export of services is typically eligible for a 0% GST rate.

However, it's important to consult with a crypto-friendly CA to ensure you're meeting all the necessary conditions and complying with GST regulations.

Regarding GST invoicing, you should include the Indian company's name and your own GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) on the invoice.

Since you're recently GST-registered, you won't need to file GST for previous months' income.

However, you'll need to file GST returns starting from the month you got registered.

Please consult a tax professional or expert to ensure accurate GST compliance and invoicing.

Additionally, consider the following: -

Verify your GST registration and obtain your GSTIN. -

Ensure you meet the export of services conditions for 0% GST. -

Consult your CA to determine the appropriate GST invoicing format. - File GST returns starting from the month you got registered.

Remember to seek professional guidance to ensure accurate GST compliance and invoicing.
