@ Dhirajlal Rambhia sir,please guide me about the taxability of EPC conracts under GST?

It will be too early to comment anything on the subject, when much clarification is required from government about interstate combined projects, taxation of in-trasit sale models etc. But, as a whole, it should not fall just under works contract.

Also being more specific with EPC concerning me, my client has contract for solar power plants and inputs for the same is liable to 5% GST on the contrary works contract are liable to 18% GST.So,if treating EPC just as works contract will be loss for us.What advice can be given in such cases?

Present scenario is for wait & watch. There would be many changes during implementation. Government would listen to genuine hurdles of the industry, specifically renewable power sector as that is the backbone of infrastructure...............
