I think you mean it's pending since 20th May....... Jurisdiction office have to take appropriate actions within 30 days from the date of application.
if there is no action, it should be treated deemed cancellation.

Taxpayers can check jurisdiction through ‘Search Taxpayer’ option available on GST portal.

Sir I think it would be FINAL Return u/s 45 instead of Annual Return.
Final Return has to be filed electronically in FORM GSTR 10 through the common portal by the Registered Person within 3 Months from the :
a). Date of Cancellation
or
b). Date of order of Cancellation,
whichever is LATER.

Should we file GSTR 3b, GSTR 1 even after surrender of GST registration on Deptt website till final cancellation of registration by Deptt officer

This is a case of surrender as asessee is no longer liable to pay tax as the turover is below 20 lac. How to fill the figures in GSTR-3B ? If the tax has to be paid ?
