It is not with in the scope of gst , so gst is not applicable on rental income , it is with in the scope of income tax

It's a commercial property. levying GST is mandatory. In case if the let out is of a residential HP nature then it is exempted. But TDS is compulsory in both the cases.

If rental income is from residential house then it is exempt whereas if it is from commercial purpose then GST is attracted and tds is levied @ 10% if rental income exceeds RS.240000/- under section 194I
