GST is applicable on the supplies made by the electric contractor.
As per the recent amendment you can take Composition Registration under GST if you have raised service related bill of Rs. 5 lakh or 10% of Previous Financial Year Turnover whichever is higher. Otherwise under services you must need to register under regular scheme of GST, except hotel service.
