GOODWILL.... Something that has always amazed me.. and i guess will keep on amazing me all my life...
Though we have so many methods of valuing goodwill... i don't really think goodwill is something that can be ever measured... It affects everything... just everything in an organization.. from employee morale to customer relationship, from sales turnover ratio to labour turnover ratio, from brand creation to industry reputation.... hah.. the list goes on...
I mean when something can have such tremendous far reaching impact on every element of business then without doubt it is the soul of business....
Coming to the next point... i somewhere read... everything that goes into making a good life... goes into making a good business ( or organisation)...
so everything written above is with equal effect... applicable to our own lives too...
