what are the consequences if GMCS 1 is not completed within 1 year of articlship

it has not b notified anywhere.. but it is suggested to do it on time to avoid any future hardship
But what are the consequences if it has nt been notified?
when something is not notified ... it can b anything... may b icai wil not take it seriously... if they took .. they wil not allow u to sit in exam, or wil withheld results... anything can b there or may b nothing... so predicting abt icai is tough job dear
However, ICAI has extended the deadline, for a third time, to 31.12.2015 vide announcement dated 02.03.2015 (link).
