Is 3CD / 3CE to be signed by the assessee also apart from the Tax Auditor?

Sir,
Our office has the custom of making the client verify and sign every pages of financial statements along with the audit reports such as 3CD, 3CB, 29B etc.....But i don't think its necessary/ mandatory for the assessee to sign and verify the 3CD...
It is necessary to sign.
Form 3cd can be signed by tax auditor only... because its a part of his audit report....
