Is it mandatory to file 23B for the period before 2007.
If the annual returns for period before that are to be filed now how to provide SRN.
SRN were alloted after July 2007.

If you want to file annual returns with ROC of any financial year, Form 23B is to be filled before any other form is filled. Moreover SRN of Form 23B is required in filling one of the Form 23AC / 23ACA/ 20B.
for Late filling, Additional Charges will be charged.

There is no need to file Form 23B for the period before 2007, you can fill such form by Z99999999 because it is mandatory to fill.
