#"Form 16" is issued by the employers to the employees after deducting the TDS from their salary. Every employer must issue Form 16, if TDS has been deducted from the employee’s salary as per the law under the IT Act, 1961.
Form 16 is a certificate of proof under section 203 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 that TDS has been deducted from employee’s salary. The employees then use it for filing Tax Returns.

#"Form 16A" is also a TDS certificate issued by an Deductor to the deductee on a quarterly basis. However, it shows the deductions on the income other than salary such as professional fees, rent received, bank interest payments etc.

#Difference between Form 16 & Form 16A
• TDS deducted on the salary is indicated in Form 16. On the other hand, Form 16A indicates the TDS deducted on the income other than salary.
• Form 16 is issued on an annual basis. On the other hand, Form 16A is issued quarterly.

#"Form 26AS" The I-T department maintains the database of the total tax paid by the taxpayer (i.e., tax credit in the account of a taxpayer). Form 26AS is an annual statement maintained under 'Rule 31AB ' of the I-T disclosing the details of tax credit in a taxpayer's account as per the database of the tax department. In other words, Form 26AS will reflect the details of tax credit appearing in the Permanent Account Number (PAN) of the taxpayer as per the database of the tax department. The tax credit will cover TDS, TCS and tax paid by the taxpayer in other forms like advance tax, self-assessment tax, etc.
