If you encounter an error while attaching your DSC to Form 15CB, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

  • Clear your browser and try again. Sometimes, a simple clearance can fix the issue.
  • Check if your DSC is installed correctly and is working properly. Ensure that you have installed the required drivers for the DSC.
  • Try using a different browser or computer to see if the issue persists. Sometimes, browser or system compatibility issues can cause problems with the DSC.
  • Ensure that you have a stable internet connection while attaching the DSC. A poor internet connection can lead to errors while uploading the DSC.
  • Contact the e-filing customer care support center for assistance if the above steps do not work. They can provide you with technical support and help you resolve the issue.
Thanks for the response

This is a common issue on the Income Tax Portal, often related to Java, browser compatibility, or outdated DSC drivers. Here are a few steps you can try:

  1. Ensure you're using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (latest version).

  2. Install the emSigner utility from the Income Tax website and make sure it’s running.

  3. Check that your DSC token driver is updated (based on your DSC provider – eMudhra, VSign, etc.).

  4. Restart your system and run the portal in Incognito mode.

  5. Clear browser cache and retry.

Also, if you're working on multiple 15CB filings, you can use our Excel-based utility to prepare XML in bulk, which helps avoid delays and minimizes portal errors at filing time.

  • Supports bulk XML generation for 15CA & 15CB

  • Compatible with all parts (A, B, C, D, CB)

  • Saves time and reduces manual entry mistakes
