Forgiveness means to forget the mistakes of others. The one who is able to forgive is able to forget the mistakes in his future interactions even after noticing the mistakes of others. He is able to be loving and so he is able to give corrections with love. Only when there is love in one's interactions, will the corrections given will be effective. Also such a person will not be caught up with anyone's mistakes and will be free from attitudes. Even if there is a temporary feeling of negativity, if we are able to forget the mistakes of others and forgive them, we are set free from negative feelings. We are able to be light and free from the burdens of the past interactions with them. So we find ourselves successfully able to deal with others, whoever they may be....

Before you speak, listen. Before you criticize, wait.

Before you pray, forgive. Before you write, think. 

When there is forgiveness, the harm of the mistake is forgotten. The mistake itself is remembered only to the extent that the correction is to be given. So there are no negative feelings expressed even while giving correction. And the words that are used are few but prove to be very effective. When we learn the art of forgiving we are able to be free from the burden of negative and waste thinking. So there is never any difficulty in giving correction when necessary. The mind is free from the attitudes of the past and it creates harmony in relationships even if the opinions or personalities don't match.

Be Humble And Forgive Others !

Why is it hard to forgive others? Usually because we believe that they are 90% to blame for the problem, that I am not as bad as they are. So I start to carry the load of other people's actions. If my ego is too hurt, I will have the sense of correction, of justice: 'I know I am right', 'That is not fair'. But if I start to forgive from the heart, sincerely, then this kind of feeling and attitude begins to dissolve. I remain humble and this forgiveness will bring me closer to others. Then I do not carry regrets or anger, I just let go and remain light.........

Forgive And Forget To Lead A Normal Life !

We sometimes find it very difficult to forgive the mistakes committed by others. We do try to understand but are not able to understand the other person's behaviour and so find it difficult to forgive them. When I have love for myself and am able to learn from all that happens, I am able to forgive myself. When I know to do this, I can understand the other person too from his perspective and can easily forgive him.
