Dear Abhijeet/Archana,
"Forensic" words borrowed from Medical line,You must aware that In complicated medical case of sorting out reasons of deaths, Postmotum is normally done by foresnsic experts to determine exact reasons and possible causes of death, similarly Experts has to do the post mortum types of activity to find out reasons of company death.(Insolvancy/liquidations or frauds)But here in accounting parlance company may be existing but persons expected to arrive at reasonble solutions by forensic accounting techniques what and why went wrong somewhere, who exceeded his authority .?....... ............... like that type of specific assigned functions..............You R welcome for anymore clarifications.

Dear Rachana,
Thank You For the Link..
Dear Others,
I agree that "Forensic Accounting" are western words. But then the language in which you are communicating (E.G. English) is also western.
I think Indian are best at this.. Acquiring foreign knowledge and using it to best of our own interest. Thats why Indians are best Software Designers, Knowledge Process Outsourcers and may be forensic accountants.
P.S. No Indian has been awarded for Best Service in Morgue.. (LOL...)

It seems that there are some misconceptions in the minds of Mr. Popat. Ofcourse he keeps on posting on anything and everything hence sometimes he uses his creativity in posting answers.I know the basic definition of the word forensic accounting and it is simply not the one what Mr. Popat has explained. It has got nothing to do with deaths. It is simply misconception. I had an opportunity to listen to Mr. Mayur Joshi about which even Aparna has mentioned in her post. He come as the guest faculty at the GMCS classes in Pune. The definition of forensic accounting as given by him is the analysis of the financial evidences and there are two wings of forensic accounting - one of them is litigation support and other one is Fraud Investigation. It is a thrilling work area.
I have one request to people like Mr. Popat if you donot know about the subject donot try to act smart and please donot spread misconceptions in the forum.

I completely agree with the views of Mr. Abhijeet. It seems that Mr. Popat has not even bothered to read the article in Times of India which i posted earlier. I think Mr. Popat is a street smart and i would like to know what services he has provided to the live people since he mentioned some abusive lines
"We Indian R always better in providing services to the dead Rather than living persons therfore they R world best Forensic Accountant". I request the forum moderator to remove these lines
