For appearing in ipc may2014

I got admission to ipc under the direct entry scheme. I finished my itt and o.t by 31st jan 2013. However I failed to get a firm before that date. As 9 months articleship is mandatory I can't sit for the nov 13 ipc exams..so I've to appear for may 14 exam. Now, my question is how many months of articleship is mandatory for may14 exams...
