SOX is there in syllabus.

As per ur document;even BS7799 isn't in syllabus.

But;that isn't mentioned in icai announcement or the pdf by icai entitled "LIST OF INSTITUTE’S PUBLICATIONS RELEVANT FOR MAY, 2011 EXAMINATION"

YES SOX HAS BEEN REPLACED IN A DIFFERENT LESSON,,

SORRY FOR THE INADVERTENT ERROR,....

AND SUSHANT RGRDING UR QUERY BS7799 IS NOT THERE IN THE NEW MATERIAL,....

THE NEW MTRIAL IS UPLOADED IN THE ICAI SITE,..HAVE A CHECK,...

FRNDS PLZ DO CORRECT ANY CHANGES IF THERE,...

COZ THERE IS QUITE A FEW OPINIONS ON THE CHANGES REGARDING THE SYLLABUS,..

SO IF U FIND SOME INFO DO CONTRIBUTE SO TAT ALL THE STUDENTS CAN B BENEFITTED,...

@ Bharath......BS 7799 is also there ,, check out New Module of ICAI (Edition Jan 2011 got from ICAI Sangrur Branch and confirmed for the Authenticity).......Now it's getting a total MESS.......why Don't someone take step to consult ICAI for the changes ... @ Ravi .. My friend .. u have an Experience in this regard since i remember ur initiative when ISCA module was changed and Declared later on.....

hmmm manish here is the pdf document of the new edition of the 8th lesson in isca,...

i dont find bs7799 in it,.....only part II i.e ISO 27001 IS THERE,...

A FEW THINGS HAS BEEN DELETED IN BS7799,...JUST A MINOR ONE,...
