I just received My Final CA Registration letter from the ICAI. The last paragraph of the same says that "You will be eligible to appear in Final Examination (new) as per regulation 31(ii) after completion of 3 years of articleship training(including excess leave if any) on or before the last day of the month preceding the month in which the examination is scheduled to be held. The candidate is also required to be in service as on the First day of the month of the examination, i.e. 1st may or 1st November, as the case may be."
i complete my articleship in March'2014, does the above paragraph mean that i will be eligible for the May'2014 Final Attempt and not the Nov'2013 attempt, because as far as i know, i thought i was eligible for the Nov'2013 attempt since i would be done with 2.1/2(two and a half) by then. Please Help.
