Go to IT login and verify the original return first. A return is valid only if it is verified.
You can verify through your net banking also.
After the original is verified then you can file revised return and verify the same.
When I file revised return and send ITR - V for processing the TDS which is refunded in original ITR is refunded again by IT department?
And XML of revised return should be uploaded before or after the processing of original return?
I think you can file revised return and send ITR-V of both revised and original to CPC bangalore.at the same time.
Your original return will not be assessed because you have not verified it.
Thats why upload revised return . Take a print out of both original and revised return and send to CPC in same envelope. You can e-verify using AADHAR CARD plus OTP or netbanking.
it is NECESSARY only to send PRINTOUT self signed ITR-V format as VERIFIACTION acknowledgement of verification , not of entire income tax returns ( seen several people at GPO sending entire filled up forms)
