FALSE ANNOUNCEMENTS

i agree with u mam. i gave my pcc exam in may 10. institutes said that in audit paper standard on audit is applicable but in exam ask question based on aas. but what to do mam it is our institute known for.they are concentrate only for exam no matter is it in the sylabbus or not.

Hi priya... We all know about the behaviours of ICAI.. Its better not to spoil our health by getting tension regarding these things.. Coz institute is not going to hear our problems..But the lesson I taught from ur experience is NOT TO BELIEVE ICAI ANNOUNCEMENTS.. I have my attempt in May 2012 only..

ICAI's this false announcement had cost many students. We, Students should ask it to higher authority of Institute..... But, I feel it will fall on DEAF ears...

No issue in regretting.... Now concentrate in ur future plans.

i have a question .

in exams instead of AAS i quoted the relevant SA.

will i be denied marks????????

audit paper ....AAS was given instead of SA

IPCC Accounting Paper 1 ....question was asked from group 2 advanced accounting AS

I also agree with priyadarshini..at one side our institute claims that it is most transparent institute as far as exams are concern in india..Doing any false  announments just before the exams is not a small issue.person responsible for that should come out and must give the reasons why they have done this..and in my opinion every student should be alloted 5 marks(we cant expect more than that) as bonus fot this mistake. I invite the members to share their viwes in this regard as this will have impact on any announments made by institute in future..no one will take announments seriously..

hi priya,i agree with u but v r writing professional exams not degree exams. so there will b some standard to be maintain in the exams. u shud  b ready to face such strange things in your ca life.

i think atleast they shud award full marks for such questions atleast to those who have made an attempt....

n i heard from some of my frnds during xams that the question papers are prepared 3 mnths in advance ...so the announcements in the last 3 mnths have no meaning !!!

well frndz i totally agree with priyadarshini...n no matter institute listen our grievances or not, atleast v shall convey this to the institute so that in future all such mistakes shudnt happen...

as far as deepak's views r cncerned, i wud lyk 2 tel u deepak,

being c.a. final students v all knw n r well prepared for all strange questions BUT wat wen d institute announces such statements, students ought 2 believe them..

I also Agree ...   But I think they will  give grace marks who ever have at leat attemp that 12 marks in new course
