Falling indian rupee connected to hul buyback?

As a point to ponder, the higgest beneficiary of the fall in rupee against USD in current market conditions is the parent company Unilever who has kickstarted the buy back in its Indian division to increase its stake to upto 75%. Can this be a white collored operation to save on every USD earned on foreign land during the time of massive european market meltdown?
