I am a student of C.A. intermediate scheme, taken exams both in intermediate as well as PE II scheme and not yet cleared any of the groups.

I would like to know,

1) whether am I eligible to take exam's that will be held in MAY 2008? if not

2) What will be my position as regards the new PCC scheme ?

3) I have taken my exams this nov 07 and hoping to get through II group. If i clear what will be my position as regards new PCC scheme ?

In PCC you have to appear in Group I. This is subject to GII Results. Good Luck.

heard that a cpt- pcc student can write his final exams in the last 6 months of this articleship. any press relese on this, or any confirmation from the institute

Hi Manju, You will be eligible to take CA Inter exams in May 2008, provided, you are exempeted from CA foundation or PEI (that means you joined CA after graduation). Best of Luck

Manju, if you are really serious about appearing for the earliest exam, you should contact the regional office and get clarifications. These forums may or may not get you correct answers. These are regulation matters. Though i fully appreciate people here answering your query, if I were you, I would have first walked to the CA office and got the right answers.
