Exemption from individual subjects

Can anybody pls tell me authentically about the follwoing ?

If I appear in 2 subjects of Gr 2 of the Final New Course and remain absent from the other 2 subjects and if I get more than 60 either in one or both of the subjects appeared, would I get an exemption or there would be no exemption since I have not appeared in all 4 the subjects.
