May I know how to verify and audit excise duty paid by a manufactuirng company... PLS help me in this regard

U Can verify the Excise returns with the records mainted like - "records of production, removal, payment of duty, cenvat credit records"
Just try to make a reconciliation in these records if anything is not right then it wil get highllighted by simple reconciliation
