Competition for the 'ICAI Awards for Excellence in Financial Reporting' for the Year 2002 - 2003

The Competition for the year 2002-03 was held under following three categories:

Category I Non-financial public and private sector enterprises (other than those covered by Category III)
Category II Financial Institutions in public, private and co-operative sector, such as, banks, insurance companies, NBFCs, etc.
Category III Not-for-Profit Organisations including companies registered under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, educational and research institutions, and trusts.

Winners of the Awards

M/s Infosys Technologies Limited was awarded the Silver Shield for Excellence in Financial Reporting under Category I.
Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Limited was awarded the Copper Plaque for highly commended accounts under Category I.
It was decided not to give any award under other categories as none of the entries were found to meet the benchmark.
