Etds statement rejected by tin

The reason is simple.

(Of course bynow you mmust have got answer from 1 or the other source as you posted Ur ? 18 days back).

The reason is you did not download the latest Return you filed. To be more clear :-

first time you filed. i.e. original- token no.is..............1 (no. of records in this file is say 91)

second time you filed correction retur token no. is ...................8 ( in this correction return you have added 10 records.) Thus the Sl no of the records upto that day re 101.

Now instead of downloading the file which has 101 records you downloaded the file which has 91 records.  Thus the Sl. no. of the last file is 101. Now you might have added .3 records to 91 as youhave downloaded the file which has 91 records INSTEAD IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 101+3

Thuis the Sl. no did not match that's why the file is rejected.

Now how to know which is the latest file.

Go to nsdl site and see what is the latest file as per token no. Now after downloading verify with the token no on the first page of the downloaded file. this confirms whether you have downloaded the file correctly OR not.
