Error with amount under section 10(5) given by employer under LTC cash voucher scheme 2021

Hi

Please update your salary details at "Schedule Salary"

Suppose LTA is Rs. 20,000 and salary is 1,00,000

Then please enter salary as

Basic salary = 80000 + LTA = 20,000

Then, you will be able to claim LTA 20,000 under section 10

I a still getting the same error after entering the details of basic salary + LTA = scheduled salary

I also also getting the same error even after breaking the salary into Basi + LTA in 17(1). were you able to get any solution?

I found the solution

1) Broken the salary as basic+ LTA, deleted the 10(5) entry and readded the same. 

2) Logged out and logged in again, then the validation was successfull. 

Without logout it was not working irrespective of how many combination I tried of step 1

I am getting similar error. I have broken my salary as Basic, HRA, LTA and Other Allowances but still getting the similar error. Log of and log on once again however still showing the similar error. Any other solution?

Delete the salary details entered. Re enter the salary break up details once again. but this time with LTA component. Log out and Log In. After Login in enter the LTA under 10(5). This worked out for me.  

Getting the same error, sitting for last 1 hour trying to resolve in all possible manner but still not able to close it. Let me know how this will work, logout and login is not working for me. Pls support.

I got fed up in trying. Downloaded the JSon file, create file offline and then uploaded it. Then it went through 

Even I am getting the same error. Please help.Also tried downloading the json file and tried offline. But I am getting a different set of errors

I tried for almost 6 hours and finally it worked. Delete LTA and the Exemption, then add LTA and logout, then login and add exemption and save -> confirm and logout. Login again and go straight to validation. It worked for me after almost 30 tries since yesterday so not sure what works.

My plan B was to select "Any Other" option in Exemptions and that provides a filed to update the exemption in which I would have entered Section 10(5) exemption. This I think would also be ok as the net salary and exemptions would reconcile with the Form 16.

Please follow the below mentioned steps:

> First delete the Salary details and save the form

> Logout from the Normal browser window

> Login using Incognito mode in Google Chrome

> Please fill in the Salary annexure along with LTA deduction details u/s 10(5)

> Now the form will accept the details and the above error will not throw up

I was myself facing this error and following the above mentioned process helped me clear the same.
