Hello Sir/Madam/folks

I want know if there is any chances of getting my final attempt before due date. I got to know from a colleague of mine that if it happned so that i complete my 2 1/2 years after just after 15-30 days after start of exams ill be permitted to write in previous attempt only. Suppose i started my articles in the month of june-2013, my due for finals wil b in may-2016. since i complete my 2 1/2 yearsin dec-2015, wil i be given permission to write my exams in nov-2015 itsself. I wanna i know if der is any such possibilities ? do reply me and suggest me about this.

Yes you will be able to attempt in nov 15 as icai has a rule of provisional admission which says that you can write exams in your first attempt without completing 2.5 yrs but you have to definitely complete it before your second attempt.

Hello Shrividya,

couldn't reply to your scrap as your settings allow only friends to reply.

please note that you need to complete 2.5 years as on 1st day of the month in which exams are to be held. Provisional registration doesn't mean you get to give exams without being eligible.

Dear Shrividya,

first of all check your registration status using your principal's membership numberat https://220.225.242.179/locm_article.asp?MRH_MRN=XXXXXX replaces XXXXXX with your principal's membership number

if you find your details under this link, then first of all stop worrying.

secondly preferably visit local ICAI branch or if you got any friends in chennai, ask him/.her to approach articles section in person on your behalf for the letter.
