hello everyone! i am stucked in a great puzzzle regarding my ca final attempt please help me out...here's my information:
i was iniatially registered as a PCC student and competed articleship of 11months,then,i switched over to IPCC and stopped my articleship,i cleared IPCCnov.10 exams and got registered for final in february2011,my articleship period is for 3.5 yrs,please tell me which attempt am i eligible to appear for ca final
As I understood, Your Articleship Period is 3.5 Years. so You can eligible for C.A final Attemp for complition of 3 Years articleship. as you complited 11 month articleshp earlier, so Your remaining period for Articleship is 2 Years and 1 Month. Now, as per my openion, You eligible for C.A final exam in May-2013 Attemp.

I have got a similar query. I was initially registered with PCC and then shifted to IPCC in feb 2011. I had registered for CA final in august 2011 with 11 months and 18 days of articleship left. Considering this 11 months and 18 days of articleship left i will complete my articleship training on august 10 2012. But i have an excess leave of 62 days from my first principal. So after considering these factors am I eligible to give my final attemp in may 2012??
Dear Jalpa, Your article ship complited on 23rd jan, but due to extension of 10 month You can eligible for May-12 attemp. if extension possible for less than 6 months, then You can eligible.
As , in Gaurav case, he is eligible for final exam in may-2012 because his articleship left remains afer may-2012 is less than 6 months.
Ur articleship period is of 3.5 years.............. Since, before conversion u had already completed 11 months fo articleship............. So as per my opinion, you will get a credit of the 11 months......... Thus, your final attempt will be due on 2013 May.......................
