I think u can write may 2011 exam becaue i hear that icai permit nov 2010 exam for those student whose atempt is may 2011 so u can write may 2011 exam..... i not sure about wait for correct answer,,

you just have to complete articleship before exam
there is no any provision which said u can not fill the examination form till completion of camplete articleship..
and this is my opinion
