You will not get Acknowledgment, you will receive receipt number to your mail id..that is the proof of filing the returns....check out your mail id................

Log in your account at e-filing site..............In above of the side there is a drop down list in which you saw an option of E-FILING PROCESSING STATUS . Clink on that ans then menton the F.Y. or A.Y. as mentioned . then you just saw that there is receipt advice from deppt. this show the date on which deptt. process ur return . As the same case happened with me...............

You can login your ID at income tax site then go to my account. At last you get an option "Efiling processing Status". This wil show the status of your return or you can contact at this no-08043456700 with your PAN & acknowledgement no.
