Duplicate Copy of Purchase bill
Some party gives us originally for buyers and duplicate for transporter copy.. Are we supposed to keep it in file. Or just keeping original copy is enough

Why party has given you duplicate purchase invoice ?. When you have already received purchase Invoice Original copy .
Keeping the tax invoice is enough for the recipient of goods
Tax invoice shall be prepared in triplicate, in case of supply of goods being marked as Original for recipient, Duplicate for Transporter and triplicate for Supplier. In case of supply of services, invoice shall be in duplicate being marked as Original for Recipient and duplicate for Supplier.
