Hi all... i correctly provided the pan of director of the company still these errors are prompting up.
1. The PAN mentioned by you does not match any Director PAN in the Incometax returns filed earlier for this Company.
2. The issuer name present in the DSC does not match with the name as per PAN Database of the key person
3. Please register using a new DSC with PAN issued after 01/08/2010.
i also heard that IT site is incurring errors like this from many people.
please help.
Yes, some times it happen that even if every thing is okay still you will not able to upload. You can try latter for that also.
In addition please check the following:-
1. The PAN mentioned by you does not match any Director PAN in the Incometax returns filed earlier for this Company.: make it doubly sure that the pan in xml is what you have logged in. are u able to login?
2. The issuer name present in the DSC does not match with the name as per PAN Database of the key person:--
See at the back side of DSC for what purpose it is issued. is it only for ROC or It? have you seen that it is not expired one.
3. quickly send a mail to income tax dept telling your issues. if still it persists just file with out dsc and take physical signature

I have been through this problem before. If i am correct , you have got the DSC in the name of the director of the company. This is how you got to diagnose the problem
1. Check the Last year's ITR return , if u have the xml file or the original excel file (if you are using ITD software) , the name of the director.
2. The name in the DSC should match the name of the director mentioned in the last year ITR return. You can check the name of the DSC through the Internet Explorer --> contents --> certificates column.
3. If the name doesnt match then you wont be able to register the DSC . This may be due to reasons that the name in present DSC is a new director appointed in this year only. (if you could explain your situation more , i can try to help you)
4. BUT ,now there is an option . Now the DSC issuers are giving DSC in name of person along with their PAN number.
For the purpose of Income Tax Return filing, “Controller of Certifying Authorities” has amended the procedure to include “Permanent Account Number” in Digital Signatures.
1. This change is with effect from August 01, 2010.
2. PAN is a NEW additional field in digital signature.

Well , if you are facing difficulties in gettting DSC registered ( with the old DSC's without PAN)and cannot find a solution ,then i suggest you buy a soft token DSC .pfx type immediately as the due date is in a week and the new soft token DSC might cost around Rs.700 only.
I had this situation , where the Director (DSC) who signed the return last year , had retired from the company and now i can only get a new DSC in name of the other director's name . A new director was appointed and even though i had his old DSC (w/o PAN) , i cannot register it as he was not a director last year.
hey guys..... the problem can be solved.... its nothing but you have to get the digital signature encrypted with PAN of the Director. It can be made with the people preparing DSC's. the procedures for the same is also not so hectic i think. also in your return of income in the PART B Verification part give the PAN no of the Director with whose DSC you gonna file your returns.....

You can use DSC of the Managing director in his absence any director can be used..
