Donation limit upto FY 2016-17
I want to know whether the limit of Rs. 10,000 in Cash under section 80 G was Transaction Wise or it was for aggregate value of donations which can be given in cash during a financial year by an assessee.

It is donation to the entity. Be it one transaction or aggregate to that entity for which deduction is claimed
Mean I can give donation of Rs. 10,000 in cash to five entities totaling Rs 50,000
Yes because legislature did not use the word "In aggrrgate".
