Quick Summary
This discussion explores how to classify income received from discounts and sales promotions. Participants are debating whether this income should be added to business turnover or reported under 'income from other sources'. The conversation touches on GST implications, potential taxation under the Profits and Gains of Business or Profession (PGBP) head, and how to report such income when filing under Section 44AD.

Discount  received  is not a part of turnover  , please confirm with others also.

As per sec 28 Any gift, benefit, perquisite arising due to business or profession should be taxable under head PGBP
Soo it's should shown in PGBP not In other source

I am  taking  about  GST  turnover .

But what if i file return under sec. 44AD then how to show that income ..?
