OR SELF STUDY IS THE BEST OPTION FOR DT.........WHAT U THINK

i think its better to take class rather than go for self study

even its better to take class from an average teacher, because atleast it will give us a basic knowledge and idea about tax and one more important thing is that a teacher give his all experiance while teaching and when we go for self study we can learn the same thing but after difficulties and a lots of time also have to be spent

so better to go for coaching,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

its just my personal opinion..........

My personal opinion is that self study is the best option. Coaching classes will not make you expert. They can only teach you the basics and I assume that a student attempting CA final has his basics correct. Follow 1 standard text book. Familiarise yourself with the latest amendments. Independently try to solve maximum problems of past examinations as per current laws. You may make mistakes. Refer the text book for correct answer. Try to solve it again in case you make a mistake. Only practice will make you perfect. And remember to quote correct section reference in the answers.

Direct tax exam is not about 298 sections of Income tax. Its all about application of those sections in practical situations. One can prepare well through self study. This is only my personal opinion based on my preparations for CA exams in  the past. Other members may have different opinion on this matter.

but i advise u to go for coaching

it is practically not possible to cover full course within 2 year when u r doing ur regular articleship.
