Dear Sir,
I have filled the relevant ITR 2. On validating,every sheet is OK. However when i click the button "Generate XML" it says pls click on compute tax in part B TI and compute set off in CYLA-BFLA.Ther is a icon "calculate tax" in part B TI and no icon "compute tax".In CYLA section the same is there.I am not able to generate the XML.Req help

calculate tax means compute tax . u just click on the calculate tax button & autometically, or income tax , education & higher education cess , i nterest u/s-234A,234B&234C AUTOMATICALLY calculated by the software. and click the same in setoff in CYLA-BFLA. it will automatically calculte for setoff losses in the current year and carry forawd to future years.

Dear Dr. SN Singh,
If you are still not able to generate XML file of your ITR-2, you may send your ITR-2 to me thru email on my email ID : skr_ca @ rediffmail.com and after generating XML file, the same will be sent back to you for e-filing. This is just to help you.
Iam facing some problem while filling Short term gains (FY 2009-10) . I got an amoutn of 35356 from shares.
This is my first instance to upload form ITR 4. After filling ITR 4 in all respects, I am not able to generate XML file. The button "to generate XML' is off mode. How I can solve this problem. If I have to change my XL settings, please guide me. Thanks in advance
