Dear Samir,
In general parlance, the difference in PAN No. is on account of 4th alphabet of the assessee's PAN No.
e.g. for individual it is P, for Trust it is T, for Company it is C etc....
e.g. AKEPA6324U, AKETA6482G, ACECP6532Q etc... where 5th alphabet i.e. A in case of Individual stands for the 1st alphabet of his/her Surname. e.g. Arora in my case.
