Career - plz advice

if u get job in some well established consultancy company,you will challenging works...different types of work u can get based on a company u have joined

u can get,assignments relating to,transfer prising,risk advisory services,amalgamations,etc.it depends on where u got the job

it is just my opinion

To all If you have good reference in any good Mid Sized firm then go for it to gather knowledge in different areas.This will give you sufficient exposure for future if you want to go for practice.

If you want to go for job 1-2 years is the real struggle period because once you remove the tag of 5 attempts only working exposure will be relevant. Even if you don't get the big companies initially just check the roles nad responsibilities part even you have compromise the CTC part. Because once you are well versed with  the relevant areas with 1-2 years of experience you cant get a good offer from big companies provided the recent slowdown get over. Don't compromise with the scope of work

In case of employment , i posted my resume in some job site , but not getting any call.

if there is any professional related site like cci, then do let me knw as i want to update my knowledge in Tax, AS etc.

Consultancy companies means,they also run by chartered accountants but it is not a partnership firm it is a company

just like e&y do large variety of works,which works (stat audit,tax audit)requires authorisation of a member in practise they do in the name of firm,others like,due deligense,amalgamation,transfer prising,internation taxation like wise jobs they do in the name of company

just search what are well established consultancy companies near by u,and it is recommended to directly contact their office and ask for vacancy,

no one will bother about attempts if u r really worthy...all the best...

First stop getting gyan from others, you have enough of it. Call up some one living at a better city than yours and ask permission to stay there for a week or two and carry your certificates. Go Apply personally at firms, companies consultancies. Google to get addresses. only when you move out of home and VIRTUAL WORLD you would see result.
