We are a private limited construction company engaged in the construction work of pavement of container terminal work for only Govt. organisations such as Container Corporation of India Ltd. & Central Warehousing Corporation which we get through tender process.We have quaries regarding applicabilty of Service Tax which are as follows :
Is a Container Ternimal ( ICD/DCT/CFS) is termed a "Transport Terminal " ?
Since the work is of open yard constructions which is used as road by plying their heavy cranes for stacking of containers,Are these yards comes under road work ?
Since Container Corporation of India Ltd. is a Ministry of Railway organisation & in the yard the railway network is also there,this kind of constructiion comes under work contract work of Railway
Are we supposed to get ourself registered with Service Tax Dept ?
