Only for suppliers to issue credit note to his buyers. For buyers. For buyers debit note is not necessary

Both transactions is allowed/Applicable...

@ raja sir

pls give more clarity for your post.
since, we are in dilemma/ambiguity

Plase reply the Following Transactions....

Your Sales :

In case your customer ll return the Goods. Then What documents he ll give you...? & How to you Account in your Books...?

Your Purchase :

In case you ll return Purchased Goods to Your Supplier. Then What documents You ll give to the Supplier...? & How to you Account in your Books...?

But sir, when I m issuing a credit note to my customer, automatically it's get credited as payment in his account on my ledger and the same time he is also debits it on my account in his ledger. If there is involvement of transport, than the buyer should issue a debit note to the supplier

Dear Raja P M Sir.,

Please give me the solutions in Your view...

@ raja sir,
in normal accounting in books:
if my customer returns the goods, I will issue cr.note

if I return the goods then I will issue Dr. note

but my doubt is, how uploading of this transaction will done..

some of the people said that, supplier only upload in GSTR 1 for the credit note he raised, since he is the supplier...

then buyer will accept in GSTR2A...then reflect in GSTR 2....so that amendment is done to original (intial) invoice through this process...
sec 34 also used the word "supplier" , who supplied the goods, will issue the Cr. Note........
I think questions raised by Hon'ble Raja may be seen by the concerned.
