But naturally for statutory audit Directors Report come first.
PLS MAKE CLEAR BY MENTIONING THE DATES
AGM should be held within six months from the end of the financial year in case of companies following the date 31.03... (Notice should be given 21 clear days before conducting AGM ) Notice should be attached with Financial statements, Directors Report and Auditors' Report, Notes etc. The auditors' report should be signed before sending the notice.

thanks for u r reply
Madhukar, The report of the director must include the comments on auditors qualifications. So it is implied that both the reports cannot be on the same date. There is no time expressed in company law.
It is not possible for the same date for the Auditors Report and the Directors Report
hi The Auditor report should be submitted before issing notice to the members
HI only with the mutual agreement between company and the auditor, the auditor and director should disclose their points before finanlising their respective reports with others. with the results the auditor may be required to submit their report first
