These Comparisions can not be done. CS is more of theory and CA is more of Practical..as far as passing is concerned, you have to be accurate in practicals and you ant score much in theory..so depends on you!

Both are Tough.

Difference is More Scope of CA Than CS.

Hence Result is Easier in CS Comparing to CS.

Hi Dear All, Who told that "CS is easier than CA". This is not a right perception. Can any body give guarantee that He /She can pass CS exam in one short or CA in one short? The answer is "NO".

Its very from person to person and his/her ability and the most important thing "LUCK".

there is no way of justification of the answer, whether CS or CA or any other course is easier or difficult. first it need to understand the mindset of the person posted the question.

such a discussion is valid up-to an extent but when one would like to pursue the professional course like CA, CS or ICWA it is not just the matter of passing the examination but help himself/herself to excel in the respective field it is only possible through continous study and dedication to ones professions.

both the course requires regular updation of knowledge though at the first stance CS seems easier then CA but while working you will find it is more challenging .....there are .....................

CA is more of practical application and CS covers theory aspect more...so depends on what u are good at..it automatically becomes easy for u....if u are not good at theory papers then no way CS is easy for u.....

In a nutshell..to make a comparison CS is THE GREAT BRITAIN nd CA is THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA........

Well...! its all up to you dear but if you think that your Practical Approach is comparatively weak than go for CS B'coz it is more theoritical and conceptual based Professional Course. However the scope is concerned both are very opportunistic.

Both are equally tough and equally easy.

But as you have expressed that you are weak in Practical subjects, CS may be little bit easy when compared to CA  for you,  and also CS  final is divided into  4 groups which may help you in clearing fastly.

But that does not mean  cracking practical subjects in CS is very easy . Here also the level of knowledge required is more or less equal to CA

May all your efforts be crowned with success,

With best wishes,

but both nation are poor, and nepal have atleast one thing which is famous all over the world, The Mount Everest but sadly Brazil has only hungry childrens.

i unable to understand why CA and its students feel they are supirior to others(CS/ICWA) even when sometime they fail to compite with MBA finanve from a good B-School.

CS & ICWA result too comes in singlr digit and i personally know some CA who could not clear ICWA. All course has its own importance and no one should praise himself, lets other judge whether you are good or not.

I would like to request all the professionals and students to not underestimate or disrespect any course. Its your quality which matters most rather than any degree. Dhirubhai Ambani, Subrata Roy, Bill Gates and many more are examples of the brilliance of Human Mind. They were not that qualified, they had inner talent.

So i only urge you all to at least do not disrespect any qualification or course. All the couses have their own importance in contributing to our national growth.

Finally coming to the question of Satish....

"I am weak in practical subject.....Please change this way of thinking and try to make improvement.

And offcourse CS has less practical subject. It is more theory based.

well.......jst see passing percentage in CS, it clearly solve the query.

                                 CA                CS

FInal                        7-8%          60-65%

PCC/Executive       15-18%     45-50%

CPT/foundagtion       20-22%     85%
