For tax laws only refer Girish ahuja latest edition and nothing more is required in addition to that. this book by g. Ahuja is written in a simple and easy to understand manner..

lastly refer guidelines answers of previous 5-6 attempts published by the institute for ur grp 1 which are available at regional councils, near by chapters on payment of Rs.40 for one grp particular attempt papers. ( for eg. grp1 june 2010 attempt )

not difficult to pass cs module one if ur  b.com if any prblm occurs go for tuition for one month and then self study.....

For theory subjects either u can ahead with insitute study material for Practical subjects u can refer past 5 to 8 years papers expept tax. For tax refer manoharan or Singaniah books thats very good

hi nidhi..i had passed Executive programmme module 1 this june exam..had referred module only..i'm writing the 2nd module in december..had appeared for the exam for the first time..but i'm a CA Final student too..didnt put much efforts in company accounts-costing, tax laws paper..had studied general commercial laws..that also not fully..got 48 in that sub..got 59 in comp.a/cs and 62 in tax laws..i think u can pass the module in 2-3 months study..be positive..
