CS along with CA

Hi everyone. I have completed my B.com & persuing my last year of articleship. Cleared my CA finals Last week. I am planning to start with CS. I wanted to know whether there is any exemption available if you have completed CA or B.com? If I register now when shall be my attempt? Is the CS articleship compulsory for getting CS degree?

hai prasanna,

first of all i would congrulate for completion of ca. as far as cs is concerned, there is no exemption available. you will be exempted from foundation only. you need to register for cs executive , if you register now you can attempt both groups in june 2011. regarding articleship i have no idea whether you will have to undergo training in cs or not.

Dear Friend

Congrates for CA clearance

Dear no exemption in CS for CA's. Foundation Course is exempt you can start with CS Executive Programm (inter)

Regards

CS articleship is required if you want to get membership of ICSI.  However you can sit for CS final without articleship as articleship can be started either after inter or final as per your choice.  However if you dont want to get membership of ICSI then no need for articleship.  ICSI also provides exemption from training if you have experience in certain fields.
