I am in CA final & have completed my 3.5 yrs articleship will be appearing for May 2013 CA final exams, i want to pursue CS as well...i want to know whether i will be exempt from undergoing 15 months training, 70 hrs computer course training and any exemption in any of the papers in CS course? Please reply ASAP.

U vil b exempt frm 70 hrs of IT training provided u clear ur exemption test conducted by ICSI.
As regards to articlship no exemption is given CA articlship is not recognised by ICSI. As regards to exemption in papers no notification has been issued by the institute for CA students

and what about SIP Training?
no specifc exemption from training based on CA final, u can claim it later based on your 3 years of specified work exp.excluding CA articleship
No specific exemption as to papers ,you have to clear all papers unless you are a M.com or CA, ICWA cleared candidate OR ANY OTHER SPECIFIED DEGREES
Not sure about computer training in the new training structure but as far as my knowledge goes ,its mandatory
