What to do, if one efiled his return for refund with wrong bank account no ?
I have seen an example happend with my friend. He got the refund cheque in due time.
but couldn't encash it. He has a SB account with Axis Bank A/c no: 9100XXXXXXX4466
But he wrongly filed with another friend's account no i.e. 305XXXXX231 of SBI.
What would he shoud do ?
Cancelled cheque of current A/c (i.e. Recently running. not type of current/saving)
A Cheque received by u from cpc in original
reference letter.
sent it to cpc your refund with correct bank a/c will be received or by credited by ECS.
Thats right. A cancelled cheque of the account being maintained currently needs to be sent to CPC.
In addition a response sheet needs to be send duly filled in. This can be downloaded from the e filing website.
