Converting from ca old syllabus to new syllabus

I  cleared the CA final I group in May 2005. How ever could not write the II group until now.

I wish to write the II group in May 2014. How ever understand that there is requirement to convert from old syllabus to new syllabus.

I read some where that the existing old syllabus students are automatically converted to new syllabus. If yes how do I know if I have been converted to the new syllabus.?

Will I be getting a new final registration number under the new syllabus?

What is the procedure to convert from old syllabus to new syllabus if the conversion has not happened automatically.

I am currently working abroad,and not in a position to go in person to CA insitute to get more details.
