conversion from final old course

i think there is nothing called automatic conversion. you have to apply for converting into the new sceme by paying some fees.(i believe fees is Rs1100). i dont know whether we can make online payment etc. you can download the application form from the site

I just inquired with the mumbai branch of icai that an hand written application for conversion from old to new course is required.  Along with it  a DD of  Rs 1100 is required and one would be getting the new study material. To be noted that no form 7507 is required to be filled for conversion.
