Confused!!! please help

Hello friends.

My CA Final attempt is due in May 2015 but I have not started studying yet and haven't even bought the reference books.The reason for that is that I have heard that syllabus for all subjects will undergo major changes for May 2015 attempt.E.G. The New companies Act,2013 will be applicable.ISCA is supposed to be revised too AFAIK.

So I'm not sure from where to start and which books to buy in view of above.I am very confused and nervous.Please guide me in this regard

Also I will be doing self study so please suggest me reference books for all subjects and if possible,help me with free video classes for all subjects

Mr Sourabh,

Its high time you start your preparations now. Subjects like FR, SFM, DT, IDT, Auditing are not going to undergo any change. Hence you can buy the books in these subjects or attend classes for these and complete them. If at all, a change is expected, that would be in Law (that too corporate law alone and not in allied laws like FEMA, SEBI, etc). Hence no need to postpone your preparations because of that.

Can start with cost management. Start understanding theory and try practicing sums. FM won't have major changes. Can learn forex and budgeting types of chapters where there is no changes expected
