Confused for nov 2013 attempt ?

Hi Friends,

I am very confused whether should I attempt both groups or single. In May 2013 attempted 2nd group but could not clear due to aggregate problem. This time filed the examination form for both the groups.

But due to hectic schedule at office, I could not complete the syllabus of 1st Group, only Audit and Law is done around 70% but SFM and Financial Reporting is not yet touched.

Therefore, totally confused should I complete 1st group by 30th Sep and then should study 2nd Group. Or should I leave 1st group and should study for 2nd group as that had been studied earlier also.

So, would request you to help me in deciding the same whether should go for both groups this time or only single group.

I think you should attempt single group because you also require revision before the exams.

You should attempt group 1 with proper preparation ..

Attempt both groups but concentrate on single group.. At least you will be able to know level and paper structure.. And you will gain some experience.

Go for group 2 Bcoz u already studied in full for last attempt... Till September 30 complete group 2..... No try for exemption in sfm.. U will surely get.... Moreover der may be amendments in next attempt in taxes...

My personal opinion is that you may go for Both the groups as this will INCREASE YOUR PROBABILITY OF BECOMING A CA in NOV 13 results itself....

Reason:

Your strong part : Second group is done in past, Audit and Law is done 70% (So indirectly 6 out of 8 is done)

Only 2 subjects are untouched i.e. F.R. and SFM so, you can give ONE WEEK TO FR & SFM IN AGGREGATE, AND PREPARE ONLY FROM PRACTICE MANUAL & RTP.. This preparation will improve your Self confidence and may help in clearing by getting atleast 40 marks...

HOW TO ALLOCATE DAYS?

DAYS AVAILABLE: 50 (APPROX)

7 DAYS ====> F.R. + SFM ( ONLY FROM PRACTICE MANUAL & RTP )

7 DAYS EACH FOR REMAINING 6 SUBJECTS ====> READ ONLY WHAT YOU HAVE READ IN PAST

TOTAL DAYS CONSUMED: 7+7*6=49
