If the properly is bought before 1.4.2001, we have to consider the FMV as on 1.4.2001.
Does indexation concept apply to FMV or it only applies to original cost of acquisition?

Yup.. On fair Market value... As on 1.4.2001 it becomes cost of acquisition.... Indexation apply on that
